SUMMARY:Community Bike Sale
DESCRIPTION:Pepperell’s annual used bike sale\, hosted by The Fitzpatrick Collaborative\, will be held on Saturday\, May 7\, 2022 starting at 9am. \nCome early for the best selection. The sale will continue only while supplies last. \nDonations Requested!\nWe are in need of bike donations! Bikes must have all parts and be in generally good condition – no damaged frames or wheels\, please. \nFriends of Pepperell Recreation has hosted this community event and successful fundraiser for thirteen years\, through 2019! Over that period\, residents were amazingly wonderful in donating their gently-used bikes\, trikes\, scooters and ride-ons. On average\, they started each sale with about 250 bikes – and were able to “recycle” more than 3\,000 bikes with the community’s support! In 2021 and again in 2022\, The Fitzpatrick Collaborative has hosted this event. \nOur pay-it-forward objective keeps the bikes local and ensures area families can purchase a gently-used bike for their children\, grandchildren – or for themselves\, at affordable prices. All unsold bikes at the end of sales are donated to the Worcester Earn-A-Bike program. Plus\, all those bikes were kept out of the landfills! All while helping us to do great things for Pepperell. \nThank you to our event supporters: \nPepperell business\, R.H. Willson\, has helped us move the donated bikes in preparation for the sale. \nLocal organization\, Worcester Earn-A-Bike\, has helped at our sales with minor repairs and adjustments.

SUMMARY:Music Together - Mixed-Age
DESCRIPTION:Mixed-Age is a 45 minute class for kids age 0-5 and their parents or caregivers. Each week\, Miss Sasha leads the class in singing\, dancing\, and playing songs that range from tender lullabies to boisterous jams using child-friendly percussion instruments. Our award winning music\, illustrated songbook\, and other print and online resources will help you continue the music-making fun at home and nurture your child’s musical growth—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer. Like parenting\, making music requires no previous experience or expertise\, just a willingness to get down on the floor and get silly with your child! \nMusic Together Mixed-Age Classes begin the week of April 4\, 2022\, and meet for 45 minutes once a week for ten weeks.
