Our continued growth relies heavily on the passage of the proposed "Adaptive Reuse Overlay District" (AROD) at Spring Town Meeting on May 9, 2022. This zoning article is being proposed to help under-utilized municipal and religious properties find new life in uses not originally intended for the property. We are pleased to announce the availability of Summer Camp 2021! This year, The Fitzpatrick Collaborative has partnered with The Maker Farm to bring a host of summer camp options to The Fitz. Update 06-Jul-2020 The Fitz has re-opened in a limited capacity, in accordance with Phase 3 of the Commonwealth's reopening plan. Capacity of our rooms has been reduced, but we are taking facility rentals and holding outdoor events. Our facility is being sanitized before and after each event. Update 12-Jun-2020 The Fitz will be reopening with Phase 3 of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' reopening plan. This is currently scheduled for July 6. We've been hard at work putting together a host of programming options for the community, ranging from dance and movement to art and music. Our proposal for the Peter Fitzpatrick property was selected by the town. Learn from a Pro! Professional Skateboarder Nolan Munroes won a bronze medal in the 2012 X-Games and set a world record for highest McTwist. He has offered to work with The Fitzpatrick Collaborative this fall teaching skateboarding to the community. Space is limited (limit of 10 students) - so sign up fast! Beginners intensive will learn skateboarding basics while the intermediate class will focus on expanding your skills. Required equipment: Skateboard, helmet, knee pads. Exciting Playground Update

We just placed an order for two new slides to replace the damaged ones that have kept the Peter Fitz playground closed for over two years. Based on delivery and installation time, we will have the playground open in time for Fright Night in October! Stay tuned because there will be an opening day celebration planned! Thank you to the amazing donors and volunteers who have supported this project so far! Activities Expo – August 14

The Fitz will be hosting a free Activities Expo on Wednesday, August 14 from 4pm-7pm in the upper parking lot (closest to the playground). The Activities Expo will feature local organizations, such as local recreational teams, arts groups, scouts, and more. Come learn what each organization is about, their programs, and what they offer. We will also be featuring food trucks - so bring the family, learn about area activities, and enjoy some great food from local vendors!
