    The Big Backyard @ The Fitz 5 River Road, Pepperell, MA, United States

    Learn to find, process, and carve wood to make a wooden spoon! Knife safety, skills, and sharpening will extensively be covered in the beginning of class. Kids welcome with parents. A great holiday gift idea and family bonding time! All students will carve their own usable, food safe spoon. Materials and tools provided but feel free to get your own gear before hand.     Build a 1 match fire and learn to make fire by rubbing two sticks together! In this class, we will extensively cover fire safety along with using modern and primitive tools to start fires.
