The Fitzpatrick Collaborative was founded in 2018 and provides arts, education, and recreation programs for all ages. Our vision is for members of the greater Pepperell community to be able to remain local for a variety of programs and services, all in a self-sustained community center.

    A complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. Some call it the “other half of yoga.” In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body.     This class will introduce students to the history of Hip-Hop culture with basic moves for the novice dancer. The style encompasses the movements of break-dancing and body- popping with a concentration on footwork.Clothes for hip hop class should be loose and comfortable. You can wear any kind of shirt or tank top. Long sweatpants are the best option: it's better not to expose the knees, especially if you want to breakdance.     This class provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Ballet. With a focus on developing basic technique through a combination of formal instruction, fun and games, and rhythmic music development, this class is a perfect fit for the beginner ballerina. Class attire is comfortable clothing such as leggings, leotards, tights, and t-shirts. Ballet slippers required.     This high-energy street style dance has been sought after by pre-teens and teens who want to learn the latest hip-hop trends and breaking dance moves. Elements include proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized dance steps and full bodied combinations. Clothes for hip hop class should be loose and comfortable.     Have a child who is drawn to the ukulele? Introduce the Ukulele! The Ukulele is amazingly suitable for children. They are small and fairly inexpensive and even better, they are fairly easy to learn to play. Within a few minutes a child with the finger dexterity to press the strings firmly against the fingerboard can learn their first chord and play a couple of Nursery Rhymes they are already familiar with.     Join our beginning guitar class and get hooked on guitar! Students will need their own acoustic guitars - they'll be learning simple chords and songs in no time. Level 1 classes begin with an introductory section for 8 weeks. Students may then continue and register for an additional 8 weeks. This program grows into the a Level 2 and 3 classes meet for 16 weeks and explore more advanced chord fingerings and a broader repertoire of material. Levels 4 and 5 also meet for 16 weeks, and incorporate songwriting with guitar instruction. As students advance, they can transition at any time [...]

    Ukulele for older teens and adults - Don't let the kids have all the fun! Teens and adults can learn to play Uke too! Join us to learn how to play ukulele in a social group setting. In Level 1, we'll teach you the basics you need to know to get going on this popular instrument. You'll come away with having a few songs under your fingers and the ability to figure out more tunes on your own. Students should come to the first class with their own Ukulele.
