Join us for the 19th annual Community Bike Sale!
We are proud to carry on the beloved tradition of the Community Bike Sale, a fundraising event started in 2007 by Friends of Pepperell Recreation. This annual fundraiser directly supports the Big Back Yard Playground and other recreation opportunities for our community. To date we have collectively “recycled” (found new homes for) more than 3,300 bikes with the community’s support.

Donations now being accepted for the 2026 Bike Sale!
We are in need of donations of gently-used bikes, trikes, scooters, and ride-ons. Our annual sale averages around 150 bikes and brings countless smiles to local families. The heart of this event is all about giving back. Our pay-it-forward objective keeps the bikes local and ensures area families can purchase a gently-used bike for their children, grandchildren – or for themselves, at affordable prices. Unsold bikes are donated to The Bike Connector in Lowell, MA, extending the life of these bikes and keeping them out of landfills. And for bikes beyond repair? They’re recycled through local scrap metal dealers.
Bikes will be sold mainly as-is to local families, with only minor adjustments and cleaning. We’re looking for gently-used bikes that are rideable and complete with all their parts. We can handle small fixes like inflating tires, adjusting brakes, and tightening bolts, but we can’t accept bikes missing parts or with any damage (dented frame, bent wheels, missing tires, etc.).
Bikes may be dropped off adjacent to the main entrance of The Fitz anytime until April 25.
