Have a child who is drawn to the ukulele? Introduce the Ukulele! The Ukulele is amazingly suitable for children. They are small and fairly inexpensive and even better, they are fairly easy to learn to play. Within a few minutes a child with the finger dexterity to press the strings firmly against the fingerboard can learn their first chord and play a couple of Nursery Rhymes they are already familiar with. Songwriting Workshop (Age 15+)

This is the practical application and technique of the working songwriter. Melody, lyrics, “hooks,” points of view and song logic will be covered. Solo writing as well as the concept of collaboration are introduced. Participants will work individually and in small groups.
