Perhaps you have tried acrylic painting and now want to improve your skills and increase your knowledge on how to work with this versatile paint. Over the course of four weeks, we will try new compositions, practice creating different textures using a variety of tools and work with other kinds of acrylic paint. Come and learn how to use acrylic paints that are easy to work with and very forgiving. You can paint right over your mistakes! This beginners class will teach through technique about properties of paint, color mixing, texture, and the different styles of of brushes. We will be painting on paper and canvas and learning how to create colorful and exciting compositions. No art experience necessary! Paints and brushes will be supplied.
