Have a child who is drawn to the ukulele? Introduce the Ukulele! The Ukulele is amazingly suitable for children. They are small and fairly inexpensive and even better, they are fairly easy to learn to play. Within a few minutes a child with the finger dexterity to press the strings firmly against the fingerboard can learn their first chord and play a couple of Nursery Rhymes they are already familiar with. Join our beginning guitar class and get hooked on guitar! Students will need their own acoustic guitars - they'll be learning simple chords and songs in no time. Level 1 classes begin with an introductory section for 8 weeks. Students may then continue and register for an additional 8 weeks. This program grows into the a Level 2 and 3 classes meet for 16 weeks and explore more advanced chord fingerings and a broader repertoire of material. Ukulele for older teens and adults - Don't let the kids have all the fun! Teens and adults can learn to play Uke too! Join us to learn how to play ukulele in a social group setting. In Level 1, we'll teach you the basics you need to know to get going on this popular instrument. You'll come away with having a few songs under your fingers and the ability to figure out more tunes on your own. Students should come to the first class with their own Ukulele. Note: Classes run April 3 - May 29, no class April 24.

Bring your favorite picnic blanket and join us Mondays from 9:30am - 11am in the Big Backyard (a very big happy field and playground) at The Fitz! Ms. Emily will have stories, a craft and a visit with Cookie and Mathilda, two of her farm's baby goats, plus enjoy the newly renovated playground for playtime! Spread the LOVE this Valentine's Day with The Fitzpatrick Collaborative's Cozy and Cuddly Valentine Event, hosted by The Maker Farm. For $10, families will receive a supply pack complete with adorable animal stickers, blank Valentine cards, trims, glue and markers. On Saturday February 6 from 1-2 pm, join us for a fun-filled Valentine card-making party with animals as our theme. Miss Emily of the Maker Farm will host via Google Meet and will take families on a virtual farm tour while families at home work on their Valentines. Spring Story Time

Join us in Pepperell's Big Backyard at The Fitzpatrick Collaborative for stories, crafts, animal guests from The Maker Farm, and playground play!  Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy Springtime! Story Time is weather permitting.  Check our Facebook page for weekly updates and themes. Craft materials are not shared - we provide personal kits for each family.  Masks are required per Massachusetts guidelines. Story Time runs Mondays 9:30am-11:00am, April 5 - June 28. Cost is $10 per family.
